The Tech/Plus 8 augmentative communicator is a self-contained 12 level communication device, which permits the user to record and playback 144 distinct messages, each of 4.5 or 9.0 seconds in length. The Tech/Plus 8 is simple to operate, just turn the unit on, adjust the volume, set the level select knob to the desired level, slide in the overlay to match the level select knob and push the message square to play the corresponding message.
